User Comments
When you leave comments on LegisBot, we collect the data you enter in the comments form. Additionally, we also collect your IP address and browser user agent string to aid in spam detection. If you are using Gravatar service, an anonymized string, also known as a hash, derived from your email address may be sent to the Gravatar service. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. Upon approval, your comment and your profile picture (if any) will be visible publicly.
Media Uploads
If you upload images or documents on LegisBot, we recommend not including embedded location data (EXIF GPS) in these files. Other visitors to LegisBot can download and potentially extract any embedded location data from images or documents available on the website.

If you leave a comment or request a service on LegisBot, you have the option to save your name, email address, and website in cookies. If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email for security purposes.
Data Retention
When you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This allows us to recognize and automatically approve any follow-up comments without needing them to go through a moderation queue. We also store the personal information of users that register on LegisBot, which they provide in their user profile. All users can view, edit, or delete their personal information at any time, except they can’t change their username. LegisBot administrators can also view and edit this information.
Your Data Rights
If you have an account on LegisBot or have left comments, you can request an exported file of the personal data we hold about you. You may also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include data we are required to retain for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
